Product Overview

High-Purity Quartz

Quartz is used in ceramic industries to reduce shrinkage in drying and firing and to impart rigidity to the body. Quartz particles are often in the shape of polygonal sharp edges, which provide a path for the rapid discharge of green body moisture.

This increases the water permeability of the green body, which is beneficial to the glazing process, and can shorten the drying time of the body, reduce the drying shrinkage, and prevent deformation of the green body.

In porcelain, quartz has a great influence on the mechanical strength of the green body. Appropriate quartz particles can greatly increase the strength of the porcelain body. At the same time, quartz can also improve the transparency and whiteness of the porcelain body.

Aasan Microns Private Limited have a wide range and many different grades of Quartz to meet diverse industrial requirements.
